So if I understand correctly when the water at the lake surface exceeds what is required for cold water fisheries they will cease operations on the flood gate releases?

Min flow is not seasonal, the lake levels are seasonal. If they do try to handle with turbine releases, just consider that likely means much more flow than the siphon and it can fluctuate. Could make...

It's funny, they say they can't use turbine releases due to equipment but that's what they are doing at BSD. There is so much BS in that statement.

Saturday it was dead low, today it felt like greater flow than what had been "min. flow". Water was cold and the fish were feisty.

i fished 3.5 hrs Sat morning near blue hole. it was a bit more than previous average min flow. (From 7-10:30 am).
